Jane Fonda’s Fire Drill Fridays

In front of the Capitol, actress Jane Fonda hosts "Fire Drill Friday," a weekly demonstration calling for action on climate change. The focus of this week was women's role in combating the crisis. Following a rally outside the Capitol Building, protesters including Fonda were arrested for civil disobedience after occupying the Hart Senate Office Building.

After circling and blocking off the area, police begin to dismantle the signs and make arrests. 45 people in all were arrested.
